Autumn Shore
For sale
The yellow of the trees was left in a single wet layer. Once it dried, it was not touched again.
Autumn foliage tempts you into a second layer, and the second layer is what turns yellow to mud. Here it went down once, at full strength, and was left alone.
The houses along the shore were drawn after the washes had dried, with a fine brush rather than a pen, so the line would sit inside the colour instead of on top of it.
