serdar ersun

Serdar Ersun is an artist born in Istanbul in 1968. He primarily works in watercolor, acrylic, and mixed media. He strengthened his foundation in watercolor by studying under Burhan Özer, one of Turkey's notable watercolor artists, and has also participated in numerous workshops and exhibitions with various Turkish artists.

His work stands out particularly in portraiture and landscape painting. In recent years, he has also incorporated still-life works into his artistic practice. In his portraits, he enjoys capturing the emotional expressions of musicians he admires during their performances.

In his landscape works, he interprets streets, avenues, and coastlines from various parts of the world, emphasizing the influence of light on the atmosphere of each scene.

He sees his art as a constantly evolving journey and considers each new work a part of the process of learning and self-expression. His works have appeared in both digital and print publications, as well as in collaborative projects created with storytellers and poets.
